The Workforce Partnership is pleased to announce the appointment of two new board members to our Workforce Development Board: Efrem Bycer and Jamie Gardner.

Betty Harvey worked for the same tourism company for 18 years. When she found out her hours were being cut she had to consider wether to stay in her current role or move on to something different. After attending a learning event at her local library hosted by the San Diego Workforce Partnership she found the courage she needed to move on and start a new career.

The Adopt a School program allowed the San Diego Workforce Partnership learning team and Sasha Knox of San Diego City Collage to introduce sixth graders at Millennial Tech Middle School to the world of work.  

On July 1, 2022, the San Diego Workforce Partnership moved their career center services in-house, pursuant to a waiver authorized by the Workforce Partnership Policy Board on February 25, 2022.
