Investing Funds In Our Region
The Workforce Partnership is designated by the County and City of San Diego to receive state and federal funds to administer job training and employment programs throughout the region. We also receive competitive grants to administer innovative workforce programs. Our programs enable eligible youth and adults to develop the skills and knowledge needed to meet the needs of San Diego’s employers. We also have programs specifically designed to serve employers.
Our approach begins with an understanding of our regional workforce needs to ensure we fund the most relevant and effective job training programs. Our success relies on strong relationships in the community and transparency of funding decisions. Every dollar invested is intended to have the greatest impact and be the most cost-effective.
