The San Diego Workforce Partnership has released our Annual Report 2013-2014, highlighting the steps the organization made this past year toward realizing our vision of every business in San Diego County having access to a skilled workforce and every job seeker having access to meaningful employment. The report features SDWP’s collaborations with funded partners, enabling us to serve more than 14,000 County residents in their pursuit of quality careers.
Specifically, the report features SDWP’s adult employment services that are designed to help eligible job seekers identify, or regain, a career that will promote their success. It also covers our network of 12 America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) sites located throughout San Diego County.
On the youth side, the Annual Report highlights SDWP’s own summer employment program, CONNECT2Careers (C2C), as well as the variety of youth programs funded through the Workforce Investment Act that provides work-readiness training to youth from low-income households and youth who are at-risk of dropping out of school.
Also showcased in the report are SDWP’s Research Department and its Business Services team.
