The San Diego Workforce Partnership is proud to announce that CEO Peter Callstrom and several SDWP board members are finalists in the San Diego Business Journal’s Most Admired CEO Awards. The eighth-annual awards recognize San Diego leaders for their outstanding professional achievements and their contributions to the community.
The SDWP board members who are finalists include Robert Coleman, CEO of Second Chance and Vice Chair of SDWP’s Board of Directors; Kevin Crawford, CEO of the United Way of San Diego County and member of SDWP’s Policy Board; and Kevin Landry, CEO of New Horizons Computer Learning Centers of Southern California and member of SDWP’s Workforce Investment Board.
Callstrom says it is an honor to share in this event with his colleagues and the SDWP board members. “It’s not about who wins, but about what we are doing to lead organizations and how we advance the work we are a part of,” he says. “I am privileged to represent the SDWP team at the event.”
The Most Admired CEO Awards event will be held on Jan. 28, 2015, at the Town and Country Resort and Convention Center. Winners will be announced in various categories, including public company, privately held company, nonprofit, government agency and education.
