The San Diego Workforce Partnership welcomed San Diego County Supervisor Dave Roberts for a visit on April 27. It was the first office visit for the Supervisor, who serves as Vice-Chair of SDWP’s Policy Board.
Roberts met with SDWP CEO Peter Callstrom and VP of Programs Andy Hall to discuss the Partnership’s work throughout the county. Maxine Suka, Program Manager at San Diego Metro Region Career Centers, gave the group a tour of the Metro Career Center housed in the same building and Christopher Yanov, CEO of Reality Changers, showed off the nonprofit’s small space where very big things happen.
The Supervisor’s visit wrapped up with a Q&A session with eager SDWP staff where he spoke about collaboration, why he ran for office and the issues he’s most passionate about.
