The San Diego Workforce Partnership is excited to announce that Jeffrey Woodson will be serving as the Vice-Chair of the SDWP’s Board of Directors.
Jeffrey currently serves as the Vice President of Administration for the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority. In this role he oversees Human Resources, Information Technology, Procurement, Risk Management, Training and Organization Development, Corporate Services and Business Planning.
During his time at the Airport Authority, Jeffery has managed a variety of programs including the establishment of initial financial and administrative polices. He also participated on the negotiation team that successfully negotiated a $125 million separation agreement with the Port District. He has spearheaded the implementation of an enterprise resource planning system, achieving over $1 million in savings through modified risk management strategies, the creation of an organizational development performance unit to enhance operational efficiency and succession and workforce planning, and the introduction of numerous innovations.
Prior to coming to San Diego, Mr. Woodson served as the Director of Management & Budget for the City of Dayton, Ohio and the City of Richmond, Virginia. In addition, he served as Assistant City Manager in Portsmouth, Virginia. He has over 30 years of experience working for government entities, including the Commonwealth of Virginia.
