The Expanded Subsidized Employment (ESE) program provides employment opportunities that may lead to future long-term unsubsidized employment and self-sufficiency. Participants receive assistance with interview preparation and resume tailoring to be matched with an appropriate employer based on their experience and job skills. Participants must be enrolled in the CalWORKS Welfare-to-Work program.
