This course will help you pull together all of the career exploration you've done so far to set a career goal and make a plan to reach it.

This in-person workshop will be tailored to the needs of the participants, and could cover anything from the basics of how to turn on a computer, to setting up an email address. All sessions will show participants how to use the various online learning resources provided by the Workforce Partnership.

Learn what the employer-driven essential skills are, practice them, and get introduced to a tool to keep them front of mind.

This session introduces participants to our Ikigai, a concept that means, "reason for being."  You'll also get an overview of the various career learning resources available from the San Diego Workforce Partnership and guidance on how to best engage with them.

Join us for an in-person hiring event hosted by Go-Staff, a San Diego staffing agency. Job seekers looking for work as construction laborers, warehouses workers, drivers and in hospitality are encouraged to attend, ready to interview on-site.

Interviews are where preparation and opportunity meet. Gain confidence by knowing how to communicate your value effectively and identify potential gains and pitfalls when answering different types of interview questions.

This course will explore questions like: What does it mean to have a quality job? How does that differ for each person and how can it change over the course of your life?
