Subject: Dislocated Worker Emergency Additional Assistance Flood Relief Policy Issuance

Purpose:

EDD has awarded SDWP Additional Assistance (AA) funds to be used for dislocated workers who have been directly impacted by the January 2024 unprecedented atmospheric storms in the City and County of San Diego.

This operations issuance is to notify SDWP staff that a Dislocated Work Emergency Additional Assistance Flood Relief Policy has been created and implemented to outline administration of these funds.

The Policy can be found in the Compliance SharePoint under Active Policies & Procedures and is linked below.

Action:

Effective March 1, 2024, all SDWP staff are required to follow the guidelines outlined in the Policy. If you have any questions regarding this issuance or the Policy, please contact Compliance@workforce.org.
