Los Angeles Police Department will be conducting a hiring seminar at Grossmont College.

Written test is at 9 a.m. Test consists of three (3) essays. The questions pertain to your own personal experiences, so you will be writing about yourself. You must complete all 3 questions in 90 minutes, so remember to time yourself properly.

After the written exam, there will be a Physical Fitness Qualifier (PFQ) at 11:30 a.m. If you plan on taking the PFQ, you can come to the seminar in workout clothes or change into them after the written exam.

Annual Salary Range: $63,370-$97,593

Minimum Requirements:

• 20 years of age
• U.S. High School Diploma or Equivalent, G.E.d., CHSPE
• U.S Citizen or Have Applied for Citizenship
• Excellent Health and Physical Condition
• Backgrounds Suitable for Employment as a Police Officer
