Event Description: A well-written Employee Handbook is an important tool in helping with an organization’s day-to-day activities as well as a legal defense for potential litigation when needed.  A poorly written handbook that contains legalese, language that is confusing or limits an employer’s flexibility, or policies that are not followed or not applicable can be an employer’s worst enemy.  This workshop offers a structured process for developing and/or reviewing a handbook.

  • Resources available for developing handbooks
  • Legal issues that should be covered
  • What to and what not to include
