CyberHire is not currently accepting applications.
CyberHire is an ecosystem of education and supportive services that ensure you are successful in and out of the classroom. You’ll receive support throughout your education journey and become equipped with the necessary skills to be successful in San Diego’s information technology (IT) and cybersecurity industries.
The Process
Education – Receive your training from San Diego-based institutions San Diego College of Continuing Education, MiraCosta College, the National Foundation for Autism Research, San Diego City College or National University.
Application – The CyberHire application takes about 10 minutes to complete. Please be prepared to attach a current resume if you have one. All other information will be entered directly into the online form.
Certification – Included in your education are courses teaching fluency in A+ and Network+. CyberHire covers CompTIA A+ and Network+ certification costs to help start your career in IT. Those who have already completed education in Security+ and are working in IT may earn a CompTIA Security+ certification through CyberHire to upskill into cybersecurity.
Placement – Our team will work with you to navigate our job readiness roadmap to ensure you are ready for employment in IT or cybersecurity. We partner with employers to ensure you have a pipeline for interviewing and offer paid work experiences to help you add industry-relevant experience to your resume.
Certifications offered through San Diego College of Continuing Education
Certifications available are Desktop Technician or Security Essentials.
Desktop Technician certification provides students with the skills to manage and secure computers and basic network infrastructures, including fundamental computer and network theories such as computer system models, operating systems, safety procedures, network infrastructures and architectures, and security threats and mitigation.
