Why CyberHire? 

CyberHire provides those interested and passionate about information technology (IT) and cybersecurity an opportunity to enter the industriesWe work with employers and partner with the San Diego College of Continuing Education, MiraCosta College, the National Foundation for Autism Research, San Diego City College and National University to bring you accessible pathways to IT and cybersecurity.


What is CyberHire? 

CyberHire San Diego provides you with the skills and knowledge necessary to land a job in IT and cybersecurity. By earning an industry-recognized credential, you’ll gain experience to help you be successful in your career. Once you’ve completed your training, CyberHire will cover certification exam costs in A+ and Network+ for those looking to start a career in information technology (IT) and Security+ for people in the field looking to upskill into cybersecurity. CyberHire also provides exam preparation resources such as CompTIA CertMaster practice tests and other study guides. In addition, we’ll help you land an internship and/or long-term employment. Supporting your job search 

While the technical skills you’ll learn in the classroom prepare you to do the job, equipping you to land the job is just as important. We want to prepare you for long-term success so we’ve built a job readiness road map. This resource will help you obtain employment and thrive in your new job. Your dedicated program specialist will assist you in updating your resume and LinkedIn profile and conducting mock interviews.

By enrolling in CyberHire, you access our employer network, are referred to open roles with our partners and participate in hiring events. We also offer paid work experiences with local companies for participants looking to gain real-world industry-relevant experiences.

Together with your technical skills learned inside of the classroom, you’ll be prepared to do your job and thrive in your new employment by the time you complete the program. 


Who It's For

  • Receiving CalFresh benefits or low- to moderate-income
  • Ages 18+  
  • Live in San Diego County 
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
