Request for Proposal Overview
The San Diego Workforce Partnership, Inc. (SDWP) is soliciting innovative business process improvement projects for the purpose of averting layoffs in two of the following four SDWP Priority Sectors: Advanced Manufacturing, Information and Communication Technologies, Life Sciences, and Clean Energy.
Respondents’ Orientation – Optional
An optional Respondents’ Orientation, open to all interested respondents, will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. (PST). The Respondent’s Orientation will be held at the SDWP office, located at 3910 University Avenue, San Diego, CA 92105, in the Julie Benedict Community Room (third floor). Staff will present the RFP requirements and answer questions during the Respondents’ Orientation.
Notice of Intent to Submit a Proposal
All applicants are requested to submit a Notice of Intent to Submit a Proposal- Attachment B on or before: Friday, March 11, 2016 at 5:00 P.M. (PST).
Questions and Answers
Potential respondents may submit questions about the RFP by emailing questions to: LayoffAversionRFP@workforce.org. All questions must be submitted in writing and received no later than 5:00 P.M. (PST), Friday, March 11, 2016. The last day SDWP will post answers to RFP questions will be Tuesday, March 15, 2016.
Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) – Required
All applicants are required to submit a SOQ no later than: Friday, March 18, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. (PDT). The SOQ form is available for download from https://workforce.org/workforce-program-rfps on SDWP’s website. Submit one original and one copy of the SOQ.
Proposals Submittal Deadline
All proposals are due by Friday, March 18, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. (PDT). Proposals submitted after 3:00 P.M. (PDT) will not be accepted.
