The San Diego Workforce Partnership is collaborating with Palomar College and MiraCosta College Technology Career Institute (TCI) to offer SkillCraft—a new, hands-on program that connects you with real work experience so you can launch your career as an assembler, machinist or engineering technician.
SkillCraft participants:
- Access free one-on-one career coaching and job-readiness training like resume writing support and interview prep
- Get exclusive access to manufacturing employers looking to hire
- Are eligible for up to 150 hours of paid fieldwork experience at $20/hour

Start your career in manufacturing by joining SkillCraft as you complete your training from a San Diego-based institutions such as Palomar College and MiraCosta College TCI.
Through SkillCraft, you’ll gain skills for roles like machinists, assemblers or engineering technicians. We collaborate with top employers to secure interview opportunities for you immediately after graduation or during your training, including full-time positions and/or paid fieldwork experiences.

Students or graduates of one of the following training programs:

- 8790159 Uniquely Abled: CNC Operator Program | Community Education & Workforce Development (miracosta.edu)
- Palomar College
Additionally, participants must:
- Live in San Diego County
- Be aged 18+
