Looking for a job in healthcare administration? Become a patient access representative by studying healthcare revenue cycle through UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies. Our three-month, accelerated and online Healthcare Administration Pathways program provides comprehensive training in healthcare revenue cycle management. Participants gain specialized skills that set them apart in today’s competitive job market and pave the way for career advancement within the local healthcare field. 

Program highlights: 

  • Accelerated training: Complete the program in just three months
  • Flexible learning: Live and self-paced online program that includes six mandatory live Zoom sessions 
  • Job-readiness support: Access support with resume and cover letter writing and job interview preparation

You'll receive training in: 

  • Confirming insurance eligibility and assessing benefit levels 
  • Calculation out-of-pocket costs for patients 
  • Comprehensive understanding of various claim forms
