Subject: Operations Manual Update: Chapter 7. Part 1: WIOA Title I Adult Program Eligibility and Part 2: WIOA Title I Youth Program Eligibility

Purpose:

This operations issuance is to formalize and publicly notice existing SDWP policies related to customer codes of conduct for all enrollees and other members of the public while at SDWP facilities, including career centers, or otherwise engaging with SDWP staff.

The SDWP Customer Code of Conduct is currently provided to all enrollees during the enrollment process, and includes: a summary of SDWP’s nondiscrimination policies; behaviors and actions subject to warning or suspension of SDWP services; and notice, documentation, and re-enrollment procedures for individuals subject to notices or suspensions issued by SDWP.

Action:

Effective February 28, 2025, all potential enrollees, enrollees, and participants of SDWP programming, including any member of the public present in an SDWP career center, are required to follow the guidelines outlined in the Customer Code of Conduct attached to the relevant chapters of the Operations Manual.
