Subject: Operations Manual Update: Chapter 4. Part 1: Adult and Dislocated Workers Program Activities (ETPL, ITA, & ATA Policies and Procedures - List of ID/HID Jobs)
Purpose:
The purpose of this issuance is to notify SDWP Subrecipients and ETPL Training Providers of revisions and/or additions to the following policies: Chapter 4. Part 1: Adult and Dislocated Worker Program Activities:
- The following attachment was updated for PY 19-20, and is valid from May 1, 2019-April 30, 2020:
- ETPL, ITA & ATA Policies and Procedures – Exhibit: List of In-Demand/Higher In-Demand Jobs
- The following occupation code (SOC) changes were made
- A total of 14 occupation codes were removed, 10 ID & 4 HID
- Eight occupation codes that were previously HID have been demoted to ID
- One occupation code has been promoted to HID
- A total of 26 occupation codes were added to the list (New for PY 19-20), 23 ID & 3 HID
- This attachment affects the San Diego ETPL, which will also be revised and published, effective May 1st
- All training programs have been reviewed in CalJOBS for training providers who have submitted all required documentation and have been approved for continued eligibility. This resulted in some training providers and/or training programs being removed from the San Diego ETPL.
- For training providers who have not submitted required documentation for continued eligibility, their institution and all programs have been temporarily removed until the documentation has been received and processed.
- SDWP staff is working on validating occupation codes for a handful of training programs and those programs are still in the process of being reviewed. If found eligible, the programs will be (re)instated and will be available on the next ETPL update.
- The San Diego ETPL will be continuously updated (bi-monthly) throughout the year.
- All training programs have been reviewed in CalJOBS for training providers who have submitted all required documentation and have been approved for continued eligibility. This resulted in some training providers and/or training programs being removed from the San Diego ETPL.
Action:
Effective May 1, 2019 all Subrecipients and Training Providers are required to follow the guidelines outlined in the above chapters and attachments. If you have any questions regarding this issuance, please email inquiries@workforce.org.
