Subject: Operations Manual – branding update

Purpose:

The purpose of this issuance is to notify San Diego Workforce PartnershipSubrecipients of revisions and/or additions to the following policies.

  • Chapter 1. Communications and Branding
    • Refresh of the chapter and attachment formatting
    • Removal of San Diego Workforce Partnershiplogo
  • Chapter 2. Contract Administration
    • Refresh of the chapter and attachment formatting
    • Removal of San Diego Workforce Partnershiplogo
  • Chapter 4.Part 1: Adult and Dislocated Worker Program Activites
    • Refresh of the chapter and attachment formatting
    • Removal of San Diego Workforce Partnership logo
    • Removal of expired attachment – Reentry Policy and Procedures (to be reissued at later date)
    • Attachment – ETPL, ITA, & ATA Policies and Procedures
      • Update to Apprenticeships (ATAs) and ATA Registration Process – page 4
      • Update to ID/HID Criteria – Addition of Apprenticeship Criteria – page 8
      • Update to Apprenticeship Training Procedures – page 19
        • Apprenticeships must, at minimum, meet local minimum wage requirements during the OJT for the duration of the ATA, with the goal of being placed in a related occupation at the self-sufficiency wage, as defined in the ID/HID criteria
      • Update to Maximum ITA/ATA Reimbursement – page 20
        • SDWP will only reimburse for costs related to the classroom training component of the ATA. WIOA funds cannot be used to pay for any wages and additional services that are provided under WIOA Title I services
        • Maximum reimbursement for an apprenticeship program that does not fall into an ID/HID occupation will be $3,000

Action:
