On Tuesday, August 13, 2013, Passport to Life hosted their annual career and education expo for youth ages 14 to 24 who are on probation or have been on probation in San Diego County. The event offered user-friendly information about resources and opportunities available as the young men and women transitioned into a new season of life.

The goal is to provide these young men and women with a ideas, tools, motivation, encouragement, and hope for their future.

Read his story and that of Shamaria Gentry, 18, who has taken ownership over her life and future successes, here. Story written by Michele Clock Schrotenboer, County of San Diego.
