The Southern Border Region’s workforce development boards are soliciting public input for the update to the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Regional and Local Plans.

There will be two public input meeting opportunities. You can register for either date through this Eventbrite page. The topics of each will be the same based on the state guidance. The meetings will discuss both the regional plan and the San Diego Workforce Partnership local plan. The Imperial County Workforce Development Board will post meeting times and locations for their local plan input meetings separately. Those dates are listed here: Southern Border Region.

Once an individual is registered, an email will be sent with the Zoom link. This event may be shared with any other interested parties to register.

Members of the community wishing to submit written input may email it to the attention of Melanie Hitchcock at melaniehitchcock@workforce.org. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no in-person public meetings.
