The San Diego Workforce Partnership (SDWP) is pleased to announce the appointment of two SDWP staff members to prominent community boards.

Karmin Noar, SDWP Youth Manager, Special Projects, was appointed to the Community Action Partnership (CAP) of San Diego County. Established in 1964 as part of the Economic Opportunity Act, Community Action Agencies help people to help themselves in achieving self-sufficiency. San Diego County’s CAP administers programs for low-income individuals, families and communities that promote the vision of Live Well San Diego to improve the health, safety and quality of life for all county residents.

Andy Hall, SDWP Vice President and Chief Program Officer, was appointed to the SAY San Diego Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is composed of community, civic and business leaders who volunteer their time, contribute their expertise and continually support SAY San Diego. The Board of Directors meets regularly to review programs, support fundraising efforts, maintain fiduciary oversight and guide SAY San Diego in achieving its mission.

Noar and Hall both look forward to furthering the efforts and missions of these great organizations as they continue to advocate for workforce development in the region.
