SDWP CEO Peter Callstrom has been appointed to the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors.
The San Diego Regional EDC serves San Diego by supporting local companies, implementing programs to help retain businesses and advocating for policies that enhance the region’s economic competitiveness. They lead efforts to bring new investment and new companies to the region and collaborate with industry associations and partners to cohesively approach regional issues. In addition, the organization markets the region to highlight its incredible talent and quality of life.
The nonprofit corporation is funded by more than 150 companies and public partners committed to enhancing regional prosperity. The strength of the private sector support enables the San Diego Regional EDC to provide services free of charge and its network of partners make it especially effective as they work to spur job growth across critical sectors within our economy.
