The San Diego Workforce Partnership (SDWP) is excited to announce the launch of our new Twitter handle @SDWorkforce. Launched in January, @SDWorkforce provides useful information related to a variety of workforce issues and events, including jobs reports, long-term unemployment benefits, and economic events and job fairs.
This will be the primary Twitter home for SDWP-related information. SDWP President and CEO Peter Callstrom maintains a separate Twitter handle at @PeterACallstrom.
Some recent tweets from @SDWorkforce include links to a White House Fact Sheet “Opportunity for All: Empowering All Americans with the Skills Needed for In-Demand Jobs”; unemployment insurance figures; event promotions for the First Annual North County Economic Summit; and political discussion related to hot topics, such as unemployment insurance and the minimum wage.
