SDWP staff members attended the inaugural One San Diego’s Neighborhood Experience, which celebrated Mayor Faulconer’s first year in office. The March 3 event was a fundraiser for One San Diego, a nonprofit formed by Faulconer to create a united city where opportunities exist for every resident in every neighborhood. One San Diego projects aim to create stronger and more beautiful communities, enhanced economic opportunity, and improved the lives of San Diego youth through education and recreational opportunities. Held at the Broadway Pier, the event featured performances, demonstrations and tastings that highlight San Diego’s cultural, artistic and culinary diversity.
