San Diego City Council representative Myrtle Cole (District 4) has been named SDWP’s Policy Board Chair. Cole replaces County Supervisor Ron Roberts whose term expired. The transfer of duties took place at the Jan. 23 Policy Board meeting at the County Administration Building.
Cole, who has been an ardent supporter of SDWP programs, says, “It is an honor to serve as Chair of the SDWP Consortium Policy Board and to help shape policy decisions that bolster workforce development and quality jobs—two of my top priorities.”
County Supervisor Dave Roberts was elected to serve as Vice-Chair.
