San Diego Grantmakers (SDG) announced the appointment of SDWP CEO Peter Callstrom to its Board of Directors.
Peter is joining a board of 13 who are responsible for governance and ensuring operations reflect SDG’s mission and vision.
SDG is a nonprofit membership association serving more than 100 foundations, corporate philanthropy programs, giving circles, donor advised funds, grantmaking public charities and government grantmakers. It was founded in 1976 in response to a desire by people involved in organized philanthropy for a forum in which colleagues could address common problems and interests. Its mission is to connect, educate, develop and inspire organized philanthropy to be more effective individually and collectively. Membership in SDG is available to organizations with a primary purpose of grantmaking, as well as to individuals who are making minimum annual contributions of $25,000 to multiple nonprofits.
