Mark has over 15 years of experience in non-profit management with the last eight years focused in the field of workforce development. Mark has provided oversight and management to a variety of Federal, State and locally funded grants and programs including: AmeriCorps, Administration of Children Youth and Families homeless and runaway youth programs, One Stop Career Centers and Department of Labor Workforce Investment Act Title I Year-Long Youth programs.  
He has served on the Commission on Children Youth and Families Transition Aged Youth subcommittee, formed by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors and has over 20 years of non-profit experience working in social and community services, with an emphasis on serving youth and families in crisis, as well as youth and adult workforce development.
Mark received an Associate of Arts degree from Grossmont College and holds certifications as a Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) and trained Mediator through the National Conflict Resolution Center.
