SDWP and Councilmember Myrtle Cole invite businesses, service providers, nonprofits and other interested community members to attend How to Do Business with SDWP— a training and technical assistance session designed to build the understanding and capacity of interested organizations to compete for SDWP funds. Each year, SDWP releases Request For Proposals (RFPs) focused on youth and adult job training programs. SDWP also purchases professional consulting and contracting services, equipment, food, office and cleaning supplies, temporary staffing, research reports and more.
The presentations will cover the process to receive funding from SDWP as well as:
- Purpose and goals of SDWP funded programs
- Required organizational infrastructure
- Procurement process

New vendors, businesses and service providers are encouraged to attend.
